The noticer returns by Andy Andrews

The book was a birthday gift I got from my best friend a few years ago. However, I always made excuses to not reading the book. I also have not heard Andy Andrews before, so the book was not as attractive as other books for me. As I shared with you, one of my 2021 revolutions is to read more books. Therefore, it is the best time for me to spend time with ''The noticer returns''.

In the beginning of the book, the author informs us already that he does not know which category his book belongs, fiction or nonfiction, self-development or not. It was very difficult for me to catch the flow of the book. I was very confused to identify if what he is writing is a real event or the story he created. I spent almost three weeks just to read one third part of the book. However, at one point, I just could not keep my eyes out of the book and finished it after two days.

The more time you spend with ''The noticer returns'', the more curiosity you have. At one point, you will just forget the wonder if it is fiction or non-fiction, and focus on the characters and the line of the book instead. The book did not give me any emotional peak moments, it is just an ordinary flow but it is extraordinary. You can only understand what I am talking about when you read it.

Most of us heard the word perspectives, but I wonder if we truly understand the meaning of it. By giving some case studies and through the conversation between characters, Andy slowly makes us understand the concept and the meaning. I have shared one time on my Instagram story one conversation in the book. The conversation basically was about whether you want to have an average life or not. And you can find similar questions throughout the book. The questions are not only for the character in the book, but also for yourself, for your life.

From what I have reviewed, I guess you are making the decision already that the book is a non-fictional book and it is for self-development purpose. However, I hope you do not make any assumption before reading the book. Cause you might have a different thought when you complete the book.

''The noticer returns'' has a huge contribution in my decision making process and encourage me a lot for my project personally and professionally. It was difficult to read in the beginning but I had a good time with it.
